1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LevelUp AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

LevelUp AI is an agentic productivity application for iPhone and iPad (iOS 26 or later) that combines task, habit, and goal management with RPG-style gamification (XP, levels, streaks, badges, and an in-app Shop).

Free features include core task/habit/goal tools, habit insights, focus timers, home screen widgets, Siri Shortcuts, Spotlight search, week/month calendar views, and optional Screen Time app blocking (restrict apps you choose until you meet a daily XP goal).

LevelUp Pro (subscription) unlocks additional capabilities, including AI coaching (Morning Brief and Evening Review), Gmail/Calendar/Canvas and Apple Calendar/Reminders/Health integrations, auto-scheduling, Eisenhower priority matrix, configurable tracker insights, full social leaderboard features, AI-generated story and level artwork, and custom AI-generated app themes. 3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

LevelUp offers auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock premium features ("LevelUp Pro"). By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:

3.1 Subscription Plans

3.2 Free Trial

Eligible users may receive a 2-week free trial when subscribing for the first time. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price listed above.

3.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the subscription price.

3.4 Managing and Canceling Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings:

• Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
• Select LevelUp Pro
• Tap Cancel Subscription

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until that date. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

3.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices from time to time. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing period following the date of the price change. If you do not agree with a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

3.6 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information. All billing inquiries should be directed to Apple Support. For more information, see Apple's Standard EULA.

3.7 LevelUp Pro Features

While we may change Pro features over time, they currently include (non-exhaustive): Morning Brief and Evening Review; AI Assistant and SMART Goal coaching; Gmail, Google Calendar, Canvas LMS, Apple Calendar, Apple Reminders, and Apple Health integrations; auto-schedule and travel-time aware planning; Eisenhower matrix; availability time blocks; configurable tracker insight dashboards; social leaderboard and related social depth; AI-generated level snapshot and story content; and custom AI-generated themes. Integrations and AI features may be subject to usage limits or regional availability.

4. Account Registration

• You must create an account to use LevelUp. You can sign in using Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or email and password.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use LevelUp.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users through social features
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Upload offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content as profile pictures or usernames
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the app
• Circumvent or interfere with security features, including App Check
• Manipulate leaderboards, XP, or gamification systems through exploits

6. User Content

• You retain ownership of all content you create in LevelUp (tasks, habits, goals, tracker entries, journal entries, reflections, etc.).
• If you submit photos for task or habit proof validation, you grant us a limited license to process those images to verify completion and store them as described in our Privacy Policy.
• By using social features, you grant us a limited license to display your shared content (username, profile picture, leaderboard stats) to other users you have connected with.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or is reported by other users.

7. AI Features

• LevelUp uses Google Gemini (via secure Cloud Functions) for coaching, natural-language task creation, email and calendar analysis, story generation, badge title/description personalization, goal coaching, and photo proof validation.
• Badge artwork is served from a curated library on Firebase Storage (not unique AI-generated images per user). Level snapshot and certain story artwork may be generated with Gemini Image Generation (Pro).
• On-device Apple Vision may pre-filter photos before cloud validation. See our Privacy Policy for details.
• AI-generated content is provided “as is” and may not always be accurate or appropriate. You are responsible for reviewing AI-proposed tasks (including Gmail and agent suggestions) before approving them.
• Your task descriptions, profile context, and integration-derived data may be sent to Google for processing. See our Privacy Policy.
• AI features are subject to usage limits, Remote Config kill-switches, and availability changes.

8. Social Features and Community Guidelines

• Social features (friends, challenges, accountability partnerships, squads, kudos) are optional. Full leaderboard and related social depth require LevelUp Pro.
• You may block or remove connections at any time.
• You must not harass, impersonate, spam, or abuse other users.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or community standards.

9. Third-Party Integrations

LevelUp integrates with third-party services when you opt in. We do not store your Google or Apple account passwords. Integrations may change over time.

9.1 Integrations Requiring LevelUp Pro

• Google: Gmail (task extraction and optional replies), Google Calendar (sync and scheduling)
• Canvas LMS: assignment and due-date import
• Apple: Calendar and Reminders (EventKit, on-device read), Apple Health (HealthKit read-only habit metrics)

9.2 Integrations Available Without Pro

• Apple Contacts: optional import into Social Network tracker boards (on-device)
• Apple Screen Time / Family Controls: optional app blocking you configure
• Google Maps Distance Matrix API: travel-time estimates for Pro auto-scheduling when locations are set

Your use of each integration is subject to the respective provider’s terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party availability, accuracy, or policy changes.

10. Google API Services

LevelUp's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you connect a Google account, you independently choose which access to grant for each account:

• Email access (gmail.readonly, gmail.send): Used to scan your inbox for actionable tasks and to send email replies on your behalf. Email content is processed in-memory for task extraction and is never stored on our servers. No emails are sent without your explicit action.
• Calendar access (calendar.events): Used to import calendar events as tasks and to create calendar events from your tasks.

You can disconnect any Google account or revoke individual scope access at any time in the app settings. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

• The LevelUp app, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is our intellectual property.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the app.
• The LevelUp name and logo are our trademarks.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

LevelUp is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for any data loss that may occur.

App blocking: Optional App Blocking relies on Apple’s Screen Time, Family Controls, and system enforcement. You alone choose which apps or categories to restrict. LevelUp does not operate iOS or control emergency services, phone, messages, or other system features. You are responsible for your blocking choices, including maintaining access to communications or apps you need for safety, health, employment, or legal obligations. We are not liable for outcomes arising from restricting or failing to restrict access to any app.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

14. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting us.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
• Upon account deletion, your data will be removed from our servers as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
